Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
This is the IQA qualification which you need to do if you want to become an IQA or internal verifier.
This course was previously known as the D34 or V1 course. However, these are now outdated and it is best to get this new L4 IQA qualification to progress your assessor moderator career.
This course is also part of the TAQA (Teaching, Assessment and Quality Assurance) courses.
The Level 4 IQA Course training is suitable to internally verify any NVQ, RQF, Functional Skills or other regulated qualifications like apprenticeships as well.
By doing this online NVQ Verifier course you can internally verify the work of assessors who teach and assess students in your subject specialism.
This includes a range of sectors, for example, you can become an internal verifier for beauty, health and social care, early years, childcare, health and safety, private security, construction, apprenticeships, hospitality etc.
UNIT NO 1 Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment.
UNIT NO 2 Internally assure the quality of assessment. If you hold a management position and do IQA work but also have overall responsibility for your centre as a Lead Internal Verifier then you should do our Lead IQA course.
There are no requirements for this training course however candidate must have reading and writing skills in order to complete the course Access to Internet using a laptop / pc / tablet using up to date Windows, Android or Apple operating systems. You will need two assessors whose work you can sample. You do NOT need to have an Assessor qualification or experience in order to do this IQA course. However, we do recommend completing this before starting the course.
